Game Rules for Men's Volleyball
Here are the basic rules for Faez Volleyball games
Court and Equipment
Court Dimensions: The court is 18 meters long and 9 meters wide, divided into two equal halves by a net.
Net Height: the net height is 2.43 meters (7 feet 11 5/8 inches).
Ball: The volleyball should be spherical, made of leather or synthetic leather, with a circumference of 65-67 cm and a weight of 260-280 grams.
Teams
Players: Each team consists of six players on the court at a time, with substitutions allowed.
Positions: Players rotate positions in a clockwise direction each time they win the serve from the opposing team. Positions include three players in the front row and three in the back row.
Scoring
Rally Scoring: A point is scored on every serve, regardless of which team served. The first team to reach 25 points, with at least a two-point lead, wins the set.
Winning the Match: Matches are typically played as best-of-five sets. The first team to win three sets wins the match. If a fifth set (decisive set) is necessary, it is played to 15 points, with at least a two-point lead required to win.
Serve
Service Area: The server must stand behind the end line and can serve from anywhere behind this line.
Service Rules: The server has 8 seconds to serve the ball after the referee's whistle. The serve must go over the net without touching it and land inside the opponent’s court.
Rotation: Teams rotate positions each time they win the serve from the opponent.

Blocking: Front-row players may jump and extend their arms above the net to block an opponent's attack. Blocks do not count as one of the three team hits.
Ball In/Out: A ball landing on the boundary line is considered in. A ball is out if it lands outside the boundary lines or if it hits any obstruction outside the court.
Violations and Faults
Net Violation: A player may not touch the net during play. Doing so results in a point for the opposing team.
Center Line Violation: Players may not cross the center line under the net. A violation results in a point for the opposing team.
Double Hit: A player may not hit the ball twice in succession. This includes hitting the ball with any part of the body other than a clean, simultaneous contact.
Four Hits: If a team contacts the ball more than three times before returning it, a point is awarded to the opponent.
